The Paola Middle School Library Media Center hours are 7:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Monday through Friday. There are over 10,000 books and over 5,000 of these are Accelerated Reader. The library has just added a small audio cassette library for  students with special needs and a video library for the teachers this year.  Mrs. Yerkes will continue purchasing audio/visual materials each  year to meet the school's curricular needs.

The mission of the Paola Middle School Library is to help students and staff locate, use, evaluate information, and to appreciate and enjoy lifelong reading in a warm, friendly environment.
